My cotton ball mosquito repellent hack works in 15 seconds flat

DETERMINED to get rid of mosquitos, a TikToker has shared a speedy mosquito repellant hack.

She said to get it done, you'll just need some cotton balls and one ingredient.

In a video, the woman (@spoonsboutique) shared the mosquito repellant hack that will only take 15 seconds.

It involved cotton balls and Citronella Essential oil.

She put the cotton balls in a small clear bowl and poured the Citronella on top of them until they were drenched.

She then placed the bowl and its contents on her desired surface, a table, and her mosquito repellant was good to go.

Someone in the comments section of the clip wanted to know if the hack was baby approved.

"Is it safe for babies 0-6 months old?" they inquired.

To which the content creator responded: "I use it outside and inside with my little [ones]. I feel like as long as they aren't directly inhaling it, they will be fine. I put it in our vicinity," she wrote.

Another viewer of the video showed their appreciation for the hack when they wrote: "I just knew TikTok had some hacks, cause these mosquitoes are eating me alive!"

Previously, another TikTok user shared the cheap hack they use to keep their backyard mosquito free that works almost instantly.

The TikTok user, who goes by Finch (@afinchmerely), said the hack "is going to revolutionize my summer."

They explained: "You want to know something amazing? It's almost the end of May. I’m hanging out in my backyard and I haven't gotten a single mosquito bite."

In the video, they revealed the $9 product they used called mosquito dunks to protect their garden from pests.

In a follow-up video, Finch showed their viewers the donut-like items, which are added to a bucket of water to repel mosquitos.
